Specialty Instruments

Over the last four decades we've built a wide array of specialized individually handcrafted instruments for serious players, the famous and the unknown. While an instrument such as a 12-string might be found at a Froggy Bottom Dealer, most specialty instruments are available only directly from us as commissioned guitars, built to your personal requirements and specifications.

We have built baritone guitars, 7-string guitars, tenor guitars, high-strung guitars, bass guitars, mandocellos, and octave mandolins, all built as custom variations of our established steel string acoustic guitar designs.

As always, our aim is to address the functional needs of the serious guitarist fully and effectively to produce the instrument which meets and exceeds his or her highest hopes and expectations.
